CARIBBEAN BEACH THEME PARTY

Let us whisk you away to a palm fringed beach where you can sip freshly shaken cocktails, finely tune your limbo skills, hang ten on the surf board or just simply relax and indulge yourself.

PROPS AND VENUE DECORATION

We have an exceptional choice of props for creating the perfect caribbean themed event. Palm trees, rum barrels, lobster pots, cork floats, conch shells, fishing nets, sugar sacks, life belts, surf boards, a rowing boat, thatch beach bars, replica marine life and venue permitting, a generous layer of sand for the floor. We can also include a couple of giant Easter Island effigies if you’ve got the space! There is a choice of backdrops either in scenic gauze (used in front of starcloth) or canvas, depicting beach scenes, silhouette sunsets, etc. Few themes are as flexible as this and by simply adding to the general prop allocation we can easily structure another scenario. Substitute beach backdrops with galleons, add a treasure chest, some cannons, a skull & cross bones and a crow’s nest, and voila, instant Pirate Party.

HOSPITALITY

We have a range of bright and vibrant lame covers ideal for dressing dining and buffet tables. Carved driftwood table centres complimented by bird of paradise floral arrangements realise an attractive tropical setting. Illuminated ice carvings turn a simple buffet into an eye catching and conversational display. These are just a few permutations and the potential combinations are purely a matter of personal choice.

INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT

Below are a few suggestions based on previous themed events, but there are many others you can choose from. We will be happy to help you create a tailored package from our extensive catalogue, so whether you prefer to be entertained or would rather get actively involved; we have much to bring to the party. Upon arrival our talented cocktail barmen will serve you with a selection of fresh and fruity concoctions mixed with flair and flamboyance. Costumed mix’n’mingle magicians acquaint guests with memorable sleight of hand and magic tricks, souvenirs are quickly created by our “on the hoof” cartoon caricaturist and for those feeling a little more energetic then the limbo competition is a must, “how low can you go?” Finally, the totally intrepid can demonstrate their balancing skills in an attempt to retain poise on the surf simulator!

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT

No beach theme party is complete without live music. Steel and Salsa bands still remain the most popular choice for creating lively and vibrant rhythms. An ideal combination is that of both steel and salsa band. The steel pans will set the mood for guests on arrival and provide discreet background music during dinner, while the Salsa band perform an energetic post-dinner set of Latin American dance music. We have a variety of acts that have their own unique style and presentation and much depends on whether your event will be formal or informal. Either way, we will be pleased to assist you in making the most appropriate choice.

LIGHTING

Ripple lights create the delicate effect of moving water; ultra violet gives your guests that “just back from holiday” appearance, floor cans generate subtle colour washes and illuminate set pieces while miniature pea lights please the eye and add warmth and detail. As with all our events we can provide entertainment lighting for the band or performance stage and state of the art effects for the dance floor.
